Laura Mancha
Laura Mancha has proudly served as the San Bernardino County Board of Education Trustee for Area C since 2011. A lifelong resident of San Bernardino County, Laura’s deep-rooted connection to the community has shaped her commitment to advocate for all students in the region. Over the years, she has become a steadfast champion for equity in education, ensuring that every student, regardless of background, has access to the tools and opportunities they need to succeed.
Throughout her tenure, Laura has been a tireless voice for those who are often unheard. Her passion for advocacy extends to underrepresented communities, working diligently to uplift students and families who face the greatest challenges. As a trustee, she collaborates with local schools, educators, and community leaders to develop inclusive policies that reflect the diverse needs of San Bernardino’s students.
Laura Mancha's dedication goes beyond policy work. She is actively engaged in community outreach, listening to concerns and partnering with parents, teachers, and local organizations to create a more supportive educational environment. Her leadership and vision continue to shape a brighter future for students across San Bernardino County.
Additionally, Laura is currently serving as a Community Service Liaison for Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. and has worked for the County of San Bernardino for 11 years. She is a passionate supporter of public education and has served as a local school trustee for over 25 years. Laura is a proud graduate of our local school systems and obtained her Master’s Degree from California State San Bernardino in 2016. She is a strong advocate for people with disabilities. Laura and her life partner, Manuel, are life-long residences from the City of Fontana.
